Police officer injured after rock thrown at Harlow police station

ESSEX Police are appealing for witnesses after a police officer was injured when a rock was thrown over the wall of a police station.

The officer was struck at around 11.45am this morning, Friday 24 December, at Harlow police station in The High, Harlow.

A spokesperson said: “He did not suffer serious injuries and we have launched an ABH investigation.

We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the South Gate area at the time and witnessed what happened.

“We would also like to hear from anyone who may have been driving in the area and has dashcam footage that would helpful to our investigation. 

“Witnesses should call 101 citing incident 436 of December 24.”

Surely the culprit should have been caught on the station's CCTV system - if not then pretty poor security at Harlow nick? I hope the injured officer makes a full recovery But if they catch the culprit the CPS will probably muck up the case and let the police down like they did with us!
