POPULAR Harlow-based dance group Makin Steps have raised well over a thousand pounds for the children of war-torn Ukraine.

The event was a simple gathering of family and friends who came together to see the work of the Potter Street group as well as raise much needed money for Ukraine.

Scott Simpson said: “We are so proud of everyone involved with our ‘save the children’ fundraising event for the children of Ukraine.

“Thank you to Woodbury Studios and to all the parents, students and other amazing people for giving up their time and donating”.
