ESSEX Police has provided an update after a number of people were arrested in Orchard Croft in December.

A police spokesperson said: “A 38-year-old woman from Harlow arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm without a certificate, possession of ammunition for a firearm without certificate and possession of Class B drugs has been released on bail until May 1.

A 51-year-old man from Harlow, an 18-year-old woman of no fixed address and a 17-year-old girl from Harlow who were arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm have been released without charge.

The case against a 33-year-old from Berkshire, who was charged with possession of a prohibited weapon for sale, was discontinued at court.
