HEART 4 Harlow are really pleased to be able to bring back the annual “Walk with the Cross” to Harlow’s town centre after a two year absence due to Covid restrictions.

The event takes place on Good Friday 15th April and starts at 9:30am at St Paul’s Church (next to Harlow Playhouse).

From there the “Walk with the Cross” meanders through the town centre stopping at various points to share readings, prayers and songs with the general public before arriving at BB’s in the Harvey Centre for a community Good Friday service.

Everyone is encourage to buy a drink, and maybe something to eat, from BB’s Café, to show appreciation for their support for this event.

Revd Alison Taylor, Chair of H4H Churches and Chaplaincy Group, said Church said “This is our opportunity as churches together across Harlow to mark this very important time of year and celebrate Gods goodness too us. We hope the community will feel encouraged to join in with us in this celebration.”

Hopefully, the churches will use this Holy Week to search their consciences and take a more robust and vigilant approach towards paedophiles in their ranks.
