Open to all Opportunity Harlow members, you will have the chance to meet Harlow businesses and industry experts from across all sectors. Plus, our friendly team will be on hand to share new opportunities, their knowledge and experience.

We will begin the session with one-minute business elevator pitches. If you’d like to give a pitch email [email protected]

The remaining time is for you to work the floor! We’ll keep things interesting by regularly shuffling the tables, so you get maximum exposure to all event attendees.

How do I access the session?

We use Remo, an interactive virtual events platform that allows you to roam and join spontaneous conversations. We highly recommend setting up your profile before the event, and connecting it to your website, LinkedIn, and Calendly. Who else is attending?

You’ll receive the attendee list 24 hours in advance. If you’d prefer to not be included just let us know. At the end of the session, some members choose to share their contact details. These are put into our follow-up email (with any links/information our team has shared).

Why should I attend?

Networking gives you an opportunity to pitch your business or idea to potential clients, but that’s not all, it is also a great way to learn more about the current business landscape. Use your hour to understand the roles different businesses play and how they might be able to help you. Find a mentor or share your own advice and recommendations. Bring along a specific question about your current project, or promotions. 

Your Client Relationship Manager is here to help you make useful connections – if you would like support with your networking, let them know! After each event, our team meets to check that all of our attendees were able to meet and mingle, and to discuss other ways we can help you.

How can we make our networking sessions even better?

We are constantly working to expand the network and add more value for our existing and new members. There are two ways you can help:

1. If you know any businesses in Harlow let them know about Opportunity Harlow.
2. Share your own membership and experiences publicly. As a bonus being part of a network like ours is a great way to demonstrate the social value your business offers.
