Whatever happened to plans for houses in Purford Green?

AS part of a catch up on different plans for Harlow, we turn our attention to Purford Green.
Last year, plans were approved for 35 homes in Purford Green, on land that was formerly part of the school.
Soon after, the lorries rolled in and development began.
But since November, it has been very quiet and seven months later, it still looks very quiet.
Essex County Council has told YH that there is a procurement process under way as part of the plans for development.
So we will watch this development with interest.
Still waiting for Cllr Dan Sworder to lay down in front of the bull dozers then!
What about some lovely pre fabs or those little holiday home type places would be so cute🤗❤️
Make the school bigger
This would have been an ideal site to build modern 21st century bungalows to entice residents in homes they no longer need, to move out and release homes for those on Harlow Council's Housing Register. But again money talks, ECC want to get as much as they can from this site and blow what is the real housing need. As it is, more children will be living in the area and next we will be told the school needs more classrooms.
Keep it green. Infilling overload kills the concept of a garden town
