Required: Site Manager for Holy Cross Catholic Primary Academy Harlow

Scale 6 (Range 12-17) £23,207-£25,557
Monday to Friday 37 hours per week
(Monday to Thursday 7am-10.30 am & 2pm to 6pm)
(Friday 7am-10.00 am & 2pm to 6pm) and some flexibility with evenings and weekends.

Holy Cross Catholic Primary Academy is a two-form entry primary school with approximately 436 pupils on roll. Due to the pending retirement of our current site manager, who has worked happily at our school for 16 years, we are seeking to appoint a new person to this role.

This is a key position, providing vital support to the continuing success of our school and is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to develop positive relationships with all members of the school community and an aptitude for practical work.

Experience in a trade such as plumbing or electrical work would be an asset, although is not essential.

We are seeking someone who:

Is reliable, energetic, has vision and takes pride in their work

Will ensure that our school site is safe, clean and tidy to provide a high-quality learning environment for our children

Will undertake preventative maintenance & repairs and is practical

Will take a key role in health & safety checks and monitoring with input to COSHH and Risk Assessments

Is sympathetic to the Catholic ethos of our school
