St Clare Hospice to host event on care for LGBTQ+ community

Charity / Tue 21st Jun 2022 at 08:24am

JOIN them on Tuesday 28 June 2022 from 6-8pm at Harlow Playhouse for this free, open event where we will be opening up the conversation around hospice care for the LGBTQ+ community.

St Clare Hospice is hosting this event in collaboration with Harlow and West Essex Pride and the Harlow Playhouse Trust to offer a space to open up conversations with our local LGBTQ+ community around Hospice services – what barriers there are to people from the LGBTQ+ community accessing services, and how, together, we can work to overcome them.

This workshop-style event is open to all members of the LGBTQ+ community to attend, whether you have accessed hospice care before or not, and regardless of whether you have a life-limiting condition or not.

Who will be there?

  • Presentation about Hospice services – Stacey Towler, Volunteer Development Manager
  • Opportunity for the LGBTQ+ community to put questions to members of the clinical team – Dr Helen Saxena & Jack Squires, Specialist Paramedic Practitioner

This is a free event, and you do not need to book in advance. For more information contact Stacey Towler on [email protected] or 01279 773729
