HARLOW Health Centres Trust have just been awarded ‘Grant Giver of the Year’ at the East Anglia awards of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising.

HHCT were nominated by Julie Foster of St Clare’s Hospice who complimented HHCT for the partnership built up with them over more than  15 years.

Tony Evans – Trustee for Grants and Donations at HHCT said “HHCT are delighted to have contributed to the excellent work of the  St Clare Hospice. When awarding grants we are looking for clear outcomes and benefits and to be confident in their delivery. St Clare Hospice applications are always a model of clarity and they have so often exceeded our expectations in what they have set out to achieve. We appreciate that they always highlight the contribution our grants have made. We are very pleased to have supported the superb work that St Clare Hospice does in making a significant impact on wellbeing in West Essex and East Herts.”

Julie Foster – Trust & Foundations Fundraiser for St Clare Hospice Said “We are so grateful to the HHCT for their continued support of our work. Ours is a genuine partnership and we have seen that by working together, we can collectively benefit many more people who are affected by death and dying across our shared catchment. What also makes our relationship special is the personal investment and connection that exists between HHCT and St Clare Hospice. Relatives and friends of those involved in the work of HHCT have been cared for by St Clare Hospice, and so there is a genuine, personal commitment to help as well as shared strategic aims.”
