Teenager charged with possessing baseball bat and knife in Harlow town centre

A TEENAGER has been charged with possessing a baseball bat and knife in Harlow Town Centre.
The seventeen-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, faced the following charges at Chelmsford magistrates court.
On February 17th, 2022 at Harlow without lawful authority or reasonable excuse had with you in a public place, namely Harlow town centre, an offensive weapon, namely baseball bat.
On February 17th, 2022at Harlow had with you, without good reason or lawful authority, in a public place Harlow town centre an article which had a blade or was sharply pointed, namely .knife
On February 17th, 2022at Harlow had in your possession a quantity of cannabis, a controlled drug of class B in contravention of section 5(1) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971
On February 17th, 2022 at Harlow assaulted Mohammed Hassan
The teenager has been remanded on unconditional bail until October 7th at 10:00 in Courtroom 02, Chelmsford Magistrates Court.
