HARLOW Combat Team took its first ever team of both kids and adults out to UMAC Milton Keynes BJJ open last weekend and they absolutely smashed their first competition walking away in 10th place out of 89 academy’s with three golds, four silvers and four bronze medals.

Although everyone has done really well, there were a few highlights from the day. Trey finished his fight in 14 seconds with an armbar. 

Isabelle at only 14yrs old unfortunately didn’t have anyone in her belt and weight division so was merged in to the adults giving away over 20kgs! And she did very well winning her first fight by triangle and second by armbar to take a very well deserved gold! 

Gavin fought the one and only Tom Hardy and unfortunately lost to take silver in a great fight. There’s not many people that can say they have competed again a movie star!
