Princess Alexandra Hospital nurses set to be balloted on strike action

SENIOR members of a nursing union have been speaking to nursing staff at Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH)ahead of a ballot on strike action.

Royal College of Nursing (RCN) Regional Director, Tersa Budrey was joined by other colleagues at 7am on Monday morning as some finished their shifts and some nurses began theirs to speak to them about the ballot action that could see a large amount fo staff go on strike.

We spoke to Ms Budrey about the ballot and the possible consequences of stroke action fo rHarlow users of PAH.

The Government's ability to hold out against an NHS strike is extremely time limited. The evidence for this is the Ridley Report, written by Thatcher's aide Nicholas Ridley.
