Health / Fri 7th Oct 2022 at 04:06pm

THE number of patients in Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) has taken a sudden increase.

The latest data released by the government reveals that there are 69 patients in PAH up to October 3rd.

The figure had remained relatively low through the spring and summer but this latest increase may be worth watching.

All the figures pall in comparison to January 2020 when there were over 1300 cases in Harlow and 200 people in PAH.

Since March 2020, YH has published over 2,500 stories in Covid-19. For more information, put Covid-19 in our search engine.

I agree with the first person on here. My Dad is currently in a very vulnerable position on the Respiratory ward, and anybody can walk into that ward and not be challenged for not wearing masks or washing their hands etc. They don't even take names of visitors to help with any tracing. It's disgraceful, given the nature of the ward!
