Harlow resident fined after electric motorbike involved in collision

A HARLOW resident has been fined for driving an electric motorbike after being involved in a collision.
Yaya Abdoulaye, aged 19, of Terminus House, Harlow pled guilty at Chelmsford magistrates court to the following.
On March 11th, 2022 at Harlow drove an electric motorbike (unregistered), on Edinburgh Way, Harlow without due care and attention.
He rode an electric motorbike on a cycle path, failed to slow at the exit to a premises, causing a collision.
He also pled guilty to having no licence, no insurance and no crash helmet.
He was docked six points and fined £230.00
Terminus house...what a surprise.
Does This send out the right message Fined £230 and given six points Most drivers who are legal do have a crash helmet and a license and pay more for insurance
Hope they crushed the bike
What a pathetic sentence.
