Man jailed after incident at Mecca Bingo in Harlow Town Centre

A MAN has been jailed after committing a number of offences at Mecca Bingo in the town centre.
Daniel Williams, aged 30, of Terminus House, Terminus Street, Harlow pleaded guilty at Chelmsford magistrates court to the following.
On October 23rd, 2022 at Harlow with intent to cause a woman harassment, alarm or distress, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour, thereby causing that person or another harassment, alarm or distress.
On October 23rd, 2022 at Harlow without lawful authority or reasonable excuse, had with you in a public place, namely Terminus Street , an offensive weapon, namely scaffolding pole.
On October 23rd, 2022 at Harlow without lawful excuse, damaged entrance door window to the value of unknown belonging to MECCA BINGO intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged.
Williams was jailed for eight weeks concurrent.
Reason: Offence so serious because offence was committed whilst subject to licence period.
Defendant has been recalled on existing licence period.
Maybe a rehab order should be compulsory? Or CBT?
