Planning bid for foot golf course in Harlow Town Park
News / Fri 28th Oct 2022 at 10:09am
A PLANNING application for a foot golf course in the town park has been submitted to Harlow Council.
The course would be situated where the old nine-hole pitch and putt course is situated.
The course has remained unused for over twenty years but remains a picturesque part of the town park.
The full application can be found on the Harlow Council planning portal.
Reference number: HW/FUL/22/00208
So how does that effect the 100s using that area every Saturday morning for the Harlow parkrun, if it goes through & gets built??
It won’t affect the park run at all as we will be working with the organisers to allow them to continue as normal.
Is this reinventing the wheel? What was wrong with the very enjoyable and popular course that used to be there? Harlow Council siphoning the money off to some trendy, useless pet project for druggies or such I suppose.
What a good idea bring money back in to the town .It was popular when I was a young girl lived he all my life & am now aged 70 shame there is no ice rink people would enjoy that as well. The pitch & put was great
Sounds like a great idea. Get some more use out of the park. 😊👏👏👏👏
