Harlow Labour leader presses council on mould in housing

THE leader of Harlow Labour has pressed the council on what work they are undertaking to combat mould in council housing.
Councillor Chris Vince asked the question at a recent cabinet meeting.
My Daughters house is full of mould everywhere. Her husband has had a double transplant kidney and Pancras. Her own health is low immune as other things. This needs to be sorted fast as we don’t want to loose them through illness

They need to do something about the majority of the flats in Milwards. I have mould growing on and around the windows constantly due to really bad condensation. Every morning I open them, clean them and have the heating on to help clear it. Every few months I have to paint over the mould. I believe this is due to them being single glazed. We've been promised for years that we will get double glazing but every time I call and ask I get told "maybe next year" I suffer from asthma and my children get regular chest infections. I hope that the council really do something about it now after what's happened with that poor little boy.
There not interested. I've had a leaking bay window for years, each time they come down, , no roof ok. It's laughable.
