So what do households, especially those without transport, do with anything over the one extra bag? Dump in a ditch? Even just a few dumped flytipped bags are extremely costly to clean up.... . Seems a short sighted idea to set such a limit.

If you have any extra rubbish you can leave it outside the civic centre main entrance. Remember to leave a note explaining that you have no where else to put it, and as you have paid your council tax that maybe the council can dispose of it as part of their part of the taxation deal.

Just wait to see the moaning from HC because of rubbish bags dumped in the bushes and cycle lanes. You know they will !!

What about those of us who never had a non recycling collection on the Thursday before Christmas, our area has not had a collection of general waste since Dec 8th . Tried to report on line for about Week but just told we should continue to leave the rubbish out . I now have a full bin and 3 black sacks. Will they take it all?

We have not had a collection since the snow delays, our street looks like the dump!
