Travel Alert: Traffic chaos due to large funeral at Holy Cross Church

Travel Alert: 1130 hrs:
A LARGE congregation for a funeral mass at Holy Cross Church has made driving, parking and walking nearby somewhat challenging.
Tracyes Road looks impassable and traffic is slow on Southern Way.
Cars are blocking the pavements on both sides of Southern Way and Tracyes Road.
However, YH is confident that Essex Police and/or the North Essex Parking Partnership which is responsible for parking matters in Harlow will be as vigilant in the area as they are for school finishing times and Passmores Academy Proms.
The funeral mass is expected to finish at just after midday. The cortege may well the travel up Southern Way to Parndon Cemetery.

Hopefully the pubs will go back to normal now this funeral has happened and they have all gone back to wherever they came from

What’s wrong with people? They are paying their last respects to someone, we all loose family members at some point in our lives . Your time will come one day! Too As for parking obviously too many to park in the designated car park, hence parking wherever you can or miss the funeral.
