Darts: Servolink strengthen position at top of Harlow Premier Darts league

SERVOLINK strengthened their lead at the top of the Harlow Premier Darts league with a 9-3 victory against JPs Rogues. The Servolink performance was punctuated by a fantastic 14 dart 601 leg from Paul Squirrell and Jack Pledger which included a 180 from Jack.

Other 180’s on the night from Keith Arber (Servolink) and Dave Head (Rogues), as well as a 109 outshot from Luke Wheeler (Servolink) keeps Servo in pole position to retain their league title.

Nearest challengers Paringdon Lions were pushed all the way by Tye Green Drifters, with the Lions prevailing 7-5. Bob Galloway, and Ian Mappely (both TG Drifters) rolled back the years to produce 18 dart legs in their singles, whilst Bob’s son and Paringdon Lions captain Dan Galloway went 3 darts better with a fantastic 15 dart leg. On the night Paringdon Lions has 2 x 180’s courtesy of Dan Galloway and Thomas Banks, whilst Pat Yates replied with 1 of his own for the Drifters.

Elsewhere, Colt Hatch pulled away from Paringdon Minions in the singles, eventually winning 9-3 with 180’s from Andy South and Dan Ferridge. Sawbo USC stayed in touching distance of the top two with a commanding performance against Bowling Greens winning 10-2 despite a 180 from Greens captain Damian Green. Tye Green Pirates came out on top in the ‘Bowls Club’ derby defeating Tye Green Foxes 9-3.
