INNOVATION Multisport had quite a few members taking part in yesterdays Iconic London Marathon.

Coach Andrew Kitson ran an amazing time of 3:04:05 and is hoping to qualify for Good For Age next year.

Leanne Stepney and Andy Smith started in different waves but found each other after a mile or so and then ran strong, supporting each other to finish at 3:49:05 and 3:50:13, plus smashing their £2500 target by raising £3567 for Children with Cancer UK.

Simon Couper ran a respectable time of 4:12:54 after running Paris marathon at the beginning of April.

Dawn Shaw has taken part in lots marathons, but like many has always want to run London. This was her year, and she throughly enjoyed it. Another great time of 4:44:24

Bobby Draper wasn’t far behind with an amazing time of 4:53:51 carrying a slight injury, he did fantastic!

Dayna Worsfold has gone from being a non- runner to marathon runner in just 4 months. With the help of Innovation Multisport,  her training has come on leaps amd bounds, along with her confidence and getting 5:41:37 smiling all the way round and raising over £1000 for St Elizabeths.

Liz Roberts was just behind her finishing in 5:42:31.

Not only did the club have runners, they had a fantastic group of volunteers on the route at Canary Wharf,  between Mile 18 amd 19.

A full day of cheering everyone along their way, encouraging and hugging! Its such a fantastic day and a truly humbling experience! If you feel inspired and fancy running, jogging, or walking why not get in touch with Innovationmultisport and start your journey with such a positive and encouraging group!
