Charity Abseil to take place in Church Langley this weekend

THE Harlow Tye Rotary Club are accommodating the very popular charity abseil at the Church Langley Water Tower owned by Affinity Water.
The Annual Charity Abseil in Harlow is taking place this weekend, on Saturday 20th May. The event over the 20+ years has raised over £1m for over 400 different local charities, donating £50,000 to WaterAid in recognition of Affinity Water’s sponsorship and valued help with arranging the event.
Affinity Water have partnered with the Harlow Tye Rotary Club for the past 26 years, promoting water efficiency in the local community at other events held by the Rotary Club, as well as facilitating the adrenaline-charged abseil event.
Daniella Bates, Technical Maintenance Specialist at Affinity Water says,
“We’re thrilled to be in association with the Harlow Tye Rotary Club Annual Abseil for the 26th year running. It is a great way for Harlow residents to support numerous charities far and wide.”
The Harlow Tye Rotary Club employs fully qualified experts to train and supervise every descent from the tower to ensure the utmost safety of the event’s participants.
Although the Rotary Club donate to Water Aid, all entrants can support a charity off their choice.
