She is not only their guardian angel with her actions but also with her words.

Tess has also been a great friend to families as well. You can have all the qualifications in the world but when your mother has dementia and every day asks if her husband is dead? It is people like Tess who help you find the right words.

Tess has a number of groups that meet. We went down to the Monday group called Tess’s Memory Cafe to speak to her about her work and how we can all support her.
