Accuro receives £3,000 grant for projects in Harlow

DISABILITY charity Accuro (Care Services) is thrilled to announce they have been awarded a grant of £3,000 from Shanly Foundation for projects in Harlow.
The grant will go towards the project management and running costs of Accuro’s Clubs in Harlow until June 2024. The charity currently run a Youth Club for 11–19 year olds, a Young Adult Friendship Scheme for 19-25 year olds and an Adult Friendship Scheme for over 25s with a disability. The Clubs offer accessible social and leisure opportunities for members to develop life skills, gain confidence and self-esteem, and make friends.
Accuro also runs STRIDE a six-month life skills programme for young adults aged 19–25, alternating between Harlow and Uttlesford. The Harlow Class of 2023 will be graduating on Saturday 24th June.
