THE CHAIR of Harlow Council was the host of the annual civic service on Sunday.

The service was held at St Paul’s Church.

There were a number of messages and prayers referencing the terrible events in Israel and Gaza.

The chair, Andrew Johnson was joined by a number of chairs and mayors across the county.

Rev Martin Harris led the service.

There were songs and music by Delecia and St Pauls Indian Choir.

Other speakers included MP Robert Halfon, Rabbi Irit of Harlow Synagogue, leader of Harlow Council, Cllr Dan Swords.

Burnt Mill Academy student Isabella also delivered a reading.
