Barrington’s Santa sleigh ride raises hundreds for St Clare’s Hospice

Lifestyle / Mon 11th Dec 2023 at 09:01am

YOU wait ages on Southern Way for Santa to drive past then two arrive on the same day.

On Saturday evening, the Barrington’s Funeral Directors in Bishop’s Stortford escorted Santa around the streets of Harlow.

They started in Old Harlow and wound their way around the east of the town, arriving at Newhall.

The Santa sleigh ride is done to raise hundreds for St Clare Hospice.

We hope to have the total figure later in the week.

Our camera caught them as the went down Southern Way and into Potter Street.

This has become one of our Christmas traditions - to wait by the road with our neighbours for the magical sleigh to pass! Well done and thank you to all involved, it is such a lovely sight to behold, puts us in the festive spirit and all in aid of a brilliant cause.
