A ‘LETTERBOX to Heaven’ has been installed at the Parish Council Cemetery in North Weald following a request from a bereaved family to North Weald Bassett Parish Council.

The parish council’s environmental and open spaces committee approved the request with councillors saying it was a nice way for bereaved relatives to express their feelings and help them through difficult times. 

Friends and relatives of the bereaved can post a letter to a loved one to express their feelings.  

The letter box will be serviced by the parish council.
