Harlow boxer Regan gets to finals of National Championships
Education: Secondary / Fri 17th May 2024 at 08:28am
AFTER a successful final last year at England Boxing National Championships, Regan Whay (13) of SFG College and boxing out of Rayne Boxing Club near Braintree again reached this year’s finals held in Newcastle on Saturday 11th May and Sunday May 12th.
He boxed his way to the final, claiming the crown of being Eastern Counties champion along the way for the second year running.

He boxed the quarter final in Ipswich last week against an opponent from Epsom; the semi final on Saturday against a boxer from Little Borough boxing club and the final against a boxer from the Midlands-based Pound4pound Boxing Academy.
The fight was a tough bout with both boys giving what they could and the decision going the other way.
Two finals in two years, one gold and one silver and an approach to trial for the England Schoolboys squad.
Regan has a fantastically bright future in the sport.
This lad has one bright future in the sport. I watched this fight over YouTube and the lad is out of this world. I could say he was robbed by poor judging and reffing but that's boxing. Will be following this lad closely
Any reason why this topic is under 'Crime'?
Because he was robbed?
Great news. Come on Reggie Bruiser - The Nightmare on Two Feet !
