I am reminded of the writings of the late Douglas Adams, in his masterpiece, the Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy. When asked where the plans were for the destruction of the planet Earth were, they were said to be "Prosser informs Arthur that the plans for the bypass have been on display at the planning office for some time, and refuses to listen when Arthur points out that they were actually in the basement, in a locked filing cabinet located in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying 'Beware of the Leopard'."

I am sure people will tell us where it is. The same day and time it's happening

I am surprised about the secrecy of the location when Mr Vince was the only candidate who had his home address published on the list of electoral candidates. This suggests he may not be the sharpest tool in the box.

Security reasons are a crazy excuse, the Ex MP Robert you used to see regularly around the town and did not hide away. These will be the same security reasons that Keir cannot sit in the stands. They cannot listen to the honest criticism, I suspect when this government collapses and we have the next GE Chris will not be returned as the MP.

Quite a turn of events. One minute Mr Vince trusted the people of Harlow to vote for him but now doesn't trust the people of Harlow for him to carry out an open surgery. One surgery in three months and even then it's two hours for pre-selected applicants at a yet to be disclosed location.(though there aren't that many places in Church Langley to hold it). It appears a full size cut out of Mr Vince saying "Yes Keir" is needed for Parliament and another one saying "get away from me you common people" for appearance's in Harlow. Mr Vince, in political terms your are Harlow's team Leader and political representative and so far if mp's had a 3 month trail period, how do you think the people of Harlow would view your trial period?

I sent this email to our newly elected MP 13.09.24 Dear Mr Vince. Please advise where and, when you hold your constituency surgeries. Automatic reply: Surgery. 13.09.24 Thank you for taking the time to contact me. Please accept this as an acknowledgement of your email. Following the return of Parliament after the 2024 General Election, there may be a slight delay in responding to email enquiries. Please do bear with myself and my team, we will respond to you as soon as we can. If you are contacting me regarding casework, please ensure your email contains your full name, address, postcode and a contact telephone number. Due to the volume of letters, emails and telephone calls my office receives it is not always possible to respond immediately. Please allow 5 to 7 working days for a response. We will deal with urgent cases, as far as possible, within a working day. My team can help with a range of issues including issues relating to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), His Majesties Revenue and Customs (HMRC) or the Home Office. I do not have jurisdiction over any council issues, but my team may be able to help with issues relating to your Local Authority My team and I are unable to give legal advice or get involved in legal proceedings or disputes. We are also unable to offer debt advice or immigration advice although there are some superb services in Harlow and Essex who can assist you with these issues and my team may be able to point you towards specialist services. MPs are often lobbied to support campaigns, contribute to debates or sign petitions about a variety of issues. I will aim to respond to these within three weeks if you live in the Harlow constituency. Strict parliamentary protocol means I can only assist in cases for people who live in the Harlow Constituency. If you live outside the Harlow Constituency, you will need to contact your local MP. You can find out who to contact by entering your postcode here. In times of trouble or distress, I recognise that individuals may act out of character, and acknowledge that there may have been distressing circumstances leading up to a constituent approaching my office. However, I will not tolerate unacceptable behaviour or actions towards my staff and will treat any incident very seriously. Thank you once again for getting in touch. Chris Vince Member of Parliament for Harlow Needless to say no one has contacted me to date 02.10.24 What a waste of parliamentary space

He should leave it until the weather gets colder so the pensioners of Harlow can go along and warm up for an hour or two.
