EPPING Town FC visited the children at the Dolphin Ward at Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Due to some serious infections, they were only able to visit one child, however the smile that was put on the young girls face was the reason we done the gifts for kids.

The ward had 12 children, and at least six were guaranteed to be in at Christmas.

The ward was overwhelmed with the amount of gifts that were brought in and said that they will go a long way to make children happy and also a few families who are unable to purchase presents for their children.

The football club carried this out to give back to the local communities and support all the families that need it and keep children smiling in the best way they can.

The club manager Peter Jackson along with club captain Ben Stone and vice captain Jamie Agass are over the moon with the reaction they got from standing next to the eight-year-old girl in the picture, who was really hopeful that she could be home for Christmas Day.

The first team sponsor FlowFrees Director Brian was also in attendance and said it was a fantastic opportunity for everyone involved to give back.

A massive thank you should go to all the staff on the ward and also the whole hospital who give up their Christmas to look after other people.
