Interview: Chief Executive in charge St Alban’s Primary delighted at most recent Ofsted inspection

Education / Tue 14th Jan 2025 at 09:53am

LAST month, we reported on St Alban’s Primary Academy’s very impressive Ofsted report.

Amongst the observations were:

St Alban’s core values of ‘learn together, grow together, and achieve together’ foster
collaboration and respect for all.

Pupils are polite and friendly and engage well in conversations. They warmly welcome visitors and take pride in sharing their achievements in this inclusive school.

Pupils thrive in this supportive and nurturing environment.

We went down to speak to the chief executive of the Our Lady of Fatima Trust, Ian Kendal.

Ian not only has responsibility for St Alban’s but also St Luke’s as well as St John Fisher in Loughton.

Makes me laugh how often these chief executives take credit for good ofsted results. It's the heads who do the day to day running . The executives just pop in and out.

I agree with Alan on this one.
