A ROYDON man has been extradited to the United States to answer charges following a road traffic incident in 2022 reports the NY Daily Post

Back in 2022, we reported that Thomas Robb, now aged 22, was alleged to have driven a car the wrong way in New York state.
Robb was held in custody and then bailed but subsequently failed to show up for court. it looked like he may have left the country.

There was no news until October 2024, when the Daily Express reported that Robb had been arrested and an extradition battle took place to take him back to the states.
It look like the US authorities won that particular battle.
The Connecticut News reported that Robb was in court on Wednesday January 15th.

Prosecutors allege that Robb used his twin brother’s passport to flee the country.
Judge Kevin Russo ordered Robb to be remanded to Rockland County Jail without bail.
Our previous articles are below.
While he should stand trial, lets not forget the US flew back at least one US person who caused a similar accident and then refused to extradite her. In the end it was a zoom remote trial farce. In this day when we cannot remove people and criminals due to a thousand silly excuses I do find it odd we will happily send people to the US for trial when it is obviously one way.
Well said Adam...

Adam, well said. This was my first thought too.
