A CHURCH Langley woman has pleaded guilty to assaulting three police officers in Harlow.
Betsy Smith, aged 33, of Sheldon Close, Harlow pled guilty to the following at Chelmsford magistrates court.
On June 15th 2024, in Harlow assaulted a police officer.
On June 15th 2024, in Harlow assaulted a police officer.
On June 15th 2024, in Harlow assaulted a police officer.
On June 15th 2024, in Harlow used threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress.
Smith was issued with a community order and fined £50.
£50 hahaha what a great example

£50?? Now that's a deterrent!! Crazy!!
Put it into context: £ 11 fine for threatening a school child with a knife; £50 fine for assaulting police officers, but £80 for dropping a cigarette end! This country is seriously going downhill!
