THE WHOLE Hare Street Community Primary school are rooting for popular teacher Mark Grant as he takes on Sunday’s London Marathon.

Weather conditions may be a bit different to last year when it was a bit chilly and windy. This year, it may be quite warm.

We asked Mark, how it was going?

Mark said: “Training has gone well overall. One or two injuries have punctuated the journey but I’m optimistic about finishing in a reasonable time.

I find the event itself incredibly positive, from the organisation to the relentless support along the route and it will always be one of my fondest running memories.

“Hare Street Primary School has been wonderfully supportive once again in helping me meet and exceed my fundraising target and I am immensely grateful to our amazing school community”.
