A MAN charged with two offences in connection with the investigation into the murder of a man in Harlow has appeared in court.

Matthew Arnold, aged 39, of Little Pynchons, Harlow appeared in Chelmsford magistrates court charged with the following.

On March 29th, 2025 at Harlow you did rob a male of a Ford Fiesta, of a blue unknown.

On March 29th, 2025 in Harlow, you did commit an act / series of acts with intent to pervert the course of public justice, namely, set alight to Mitsubishi L200 vehicle, which had a tendency to pervert the course of public justice.

Arnold was remanded in custody. His next hearing is scheduled for May 23rd, 2025.
