The sad run down state of the White Horse pub in Old Harlow

EARLIER this week, we reported that a bid to convert the White Horse pub in Old Harlow into homes had been rejected by the planning inspectorate.

We had heard that residents are very concerned with what they have been left with.

We went down to Old Road to see the state of the pub.

As you may see, it is clear that something has to be done.

We understand that residents are meeting with local councillors next week.

I am sure someone will set fire to it soon enough, that is what usually appears to happen when planning permission is not granted.

I am a resident am not aware of any meetings with the council live opposite the pub and it is an eyesore with car and van drivers using it as a toilet When like to to see it pulled down and some houses built there, as we need housing for the young in old harlow And thank you Paul for telling this site that I do not own this site but sick and tired of looking as the state of this pub

Thank you for showing the true picture regarding the white horse pub. The local residents are not aware of any meeting with councillors who to date have not supported the planning applications , hence an appeal.
