MIND in West Essex worked with pupils in Harlow over summer to help them get the best start in secondary school.

The Children and Young People Mental Health Support team held a new 2-day workshop called Think & Thrive at Passmores Academy, Burnt Mill Academy and Sir Frederick Gibberd College for joining Year 7 pupils.
The team shared coping strategies and looked at problem solving, helping pupils to understand our thought patterns and think about things that are (and aren’t) in our control.
The local charity hopes to bring the workshop to more schools across West Essex in the future.
