THE OWNER of the Raj Lodge restaurant in Old Harlow has won one of the most prestigious awards in Indian cooking.

Abdul Kuddus fought off all competition to win the Bangladesh Caterers Association award at their annual cook off in London.

His winning dishes were a King Prawn Jhol and a Tawa Chicken.

A judge said that his signature dishes were a class part.
