AN award winning chef has returned to Harlow to take on the Raj Lodge Indian restaurant in Old Harlow.

Last year, Abdul Kuddus, of the Mint Leaf in Bishops Stortford was crowned the East of England King of Spice at a ceremony held by the Bangladesh Caterers Association (BCA) at the InterContinental London.

It was an award that highlighted his brilliant work over the years and why the Mint Leaf is the go-to Indian restaurant in Stortford.

And now after a gap of thirty years, he is taking on the Raj Lodge.

The Raj Lodge is open now (see menu below) but plans are being made for a grand opening in September.
