Harlow Hawks 71 vs 49 Aylesbury Dux (16th November 2025)

HARLOW Hawks hosted Aylesbury Dux for their second Sunday evening fixture of the season, played in the large hall with the bleachers fully out and a brilliant crowd of around 120 supporters creating a lively atmosphere.

The Hawks opened the game a little flat, allowing Aylesbury to take an early lead as they adjusted to the pace. Despite the slow start, Harlow settled into their rhythm toward the end of the quarter and trailed by just 12–15 after the first break.

The second quarter was where the game completely flipped. The Hawks’ defensive intensity skyrocketed with pressure on the ball, disciplined rotations, they forced turnover after turnover. This stretch of outstanding defensive work sparked a huge scoring run, turning a three-point deficit into a commanding 36–19 halftime lead.

That energy carried straight into the third quarter. The Hawks pushed the tempo, continued to force stops, and punished Aylesbury in transition. The lead grew to around 20 points midway through the quarter, and Harlow controlled the flow of the game from that point onward, finishing the period ahead 55–35.
