Man pleads guilty to possession of cannabis in Harlow

A MAN has pleaded guilty to possession of drugs in Harlow.

Mitchell Cro, aged 30, of The Chalets, North Weald, pled to the following at Chelmsford Magistrates court.

On October 24th, 2025, in Harlow, had in your possession 5.58g of cannabis, a controlled drug of class B in contravention of section 5(1) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.

Cro was fined £158.00

He was also issued with three penalty points for a diving offence.

On 24/10/2025 at Harlow drove an Audi A3 on Hobbs Cross Road, Old Harlow, otherwise than in accordance with a licence authorising you to drive a motor vehicle of that class.

What a waste of everyone's time. A tiny little bit of drugs shouldn't land someone in court or with a criminal record. Especially cannabis, when we encourage people to drink and gamble which are much more damaging.
