were awarded the Beth Tweddle special recognition trophy for their
amazing sportsmanship. On giving the award Beth said “since I’ve
retired from gymnastics, I’ve realised how many skills gymnastics
has taught me…and they are lifelong skills, whether it’s
determination, whether it’s respect. We love to teach gymnastics but
what we are also teaching children are skills that they can take away
for a lifetime. This award is based on that…and I found that the
Harlow gymnastics teamwork was unreal to the point that they stopped
me midsentence so they could support their teammate.”Coach Grace reiterated: “they cheered each other on the whole way
and were so supportive. I’m so proud of them”
