THE rebuild of the iconic Town Park Bandstand has taken another step closer with he planning application for its regeneration being validated and going live.

This follows months of design work and community engagement, and keeps the council on track to bring the bandstand back next summer.

This is a part of completing the sixth step in the council’s eight-point plan to bring back the bandstand. Once this step is complete, construction will begin and the plan will be completed by hosting a special opening event next year.
