THERE is a new Fashion Collection by Marlie Fuentes Palacios in the Gibberd Gallery Window Galleries during the month of December. 

“Glass Town” is a collection of see through dresses made of organza inspired by the shapes of Harlow, where you often see yourself surrounded by a tunnel of trees of many species, and come across more than one hundred public sculptures that stand tall around the town.

“Glass Town” depicts a “Continuous and enveloping, natural guiding arcade”, which can only be experienced in our town.

Marlie, originally from Chile, is a local fashion designer who has lived in Harlow for over a decade. Her collections have been inspired by England’s historical architecture, especially stained-glass windows since,  moving the country in 2007.
