Teen in hospital and five arrested following Harlow town centre attack

ESSEX Police are investigating an incident in Harlow town centre where a teenager was assaulted.
A spokesperson said: “We received a call shortly before 3.45pm on Friday 19 December reporting a 19 year-old man had been found injured and taken to hospital.
“Officers have established that he had been assaulted in the town centre.
“His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
“Five people have been arrested in connection with the incident and subsequently released under investigation while our enquiries are ongoing.

C.C.T.V.??? Just saying, where was the 24 hours operator ? The town centre security only works in the Harvey centre, as for the Police, if they haven't got a car within 20yards / metres they are easy to dodge.

The clueless armchair generals are busy, all the best to the hard-pressed police and security staff working hard to keep the town as safe as it is. For those doubting any of this, travel a bit and see how things are elsewhere.

Five quick arrests suggest the police weren't too far behind the incident. Perhaps also suggests it wasn't random
