Education / Mon 29th Dec 2025 at 09:47am

A MEMBER of the Harlow Fields Parent Teachers Association (PTA) is taking on a January challenge.

We will let Claire Wren describe her challenge.

“Our PTA is committed to working with the school to improve the lives of the pupils. We raise funds to support a variety of projects, including: Providing new equipment and resources for the school Funding educational trips and activities Supporting the school’s enrichment program Creating a more welcoming and inclusive school environment We believe that every child deserves the best possible education, and we are committed to making Harlow Fields School and College the best place it can be for all of our children.

I’m am attempting to cycle 1000 miles, roughly the distance from John O’Groats to Lands End, in the month of January 2026 to raise money for Harlow Fields SEN school PTA. The school is where my son attends and in the short space of time that he has been there he has made more progress than ever. Any money raised will go towards providing equipment to help with learning, it will provide sensory aids and any other equipment that will benefit the children.

Thank you in advance for any donations received.
