So, he was already banned from driving and then drove anyway? Clearly a ban does not work. Time for a spell inside if he does it again otherwise there is absolutely no deterrent. Drink and drug driving is disgusting.
Utterly pointless sorry this should have been a prison sentence
You are banned! You, your children and your children's children! For three months.
Alcoholics and drug users will cause a crash and inflict hurt or death at some point. In my view they should have their cars seized and crushed and spend time behind bars. They don`t give a care about anyone else, they are the failures in society who never learn.
A slap on the wrist or a CRO from Harlow police is all they get these days. Police are not interested because that catch is not big enough. A CRO is so it's delt with quickly as they keep them in their cars. They mean nothing so why dish them out in first place. Punishment these days is like telling off kids definitely not severe enough.
Jrr the police have the power to seize and destroy vehicles driven without insurance, wonder if this was done in this case. This guy appeared in YH just over 3 years ago, given a 3 year sentence for violence against a lady.
Banning a man who has already been banned shows for him, banning doesn't work. Prison time is the only way to protect the public from such individuals.
