OFFICERS are appealing for information following the theft of a car and reports of suspicious activity in Gilden Park, Harlow.

A spokesperson said: “We were called at around just before 2am on Saturday 21st February following reports that a grey BMW was stolen from the driveway of a home in Plumtree Drive.

At around about the same time, we were also contacted by a homeowner in nearby Lapwing Drive following reports of two mean wearing ski masks or balaclavas and gloves acting suspiciously.

Officers are investigating both matters and are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the theft or suspicious activity to contact us.
