Church Langley man fined over breach of football banning order

A CHURCH Langley man has pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a football banning order.

Lee Palmer, aged 24, of Malkins Drive, Church Langley, Harlow pled to the following at Chelmsford magistrate court.

Between September 4th and 5th, 2025, at Grays, being the subject of a football banning order made under section 15 of the Football Spectators Act 1989, failed, without reasonable excuse, to comply with a requirement imposed upon you on 28th April 2025 under section 19(2) of the said Act, namely surrender passport as required.

Between October 9th and 10th, 2025, at Grays, being the subject of a football banning order made under section 15 of the Football Spectators Act 1989, failed, without reasonable excuse, to comply with a requirement imposed upon you on April 28th, 2025, under section 19(2) of the said Act, namely surrender passport as required

Between November 11th and 12th, 2025, being the subject of a football banning order made under section 15 of the Football Spectators Act 1989, failed, without reasonable excuse, to comply with a requirement imposed upon you on April 28th, 2025, under section 19(2) of the said Act, namely surrender passport as required.

Palmer was fined a total of £200.00.

twenty two overpaid and overrated prima donnas chasing a bag of wind! why anybody would want to pay extortionate sums to watch is beyond me. It's football that should be banned, not just the hooligan supporters
