A HARLOW man has been charged with an attempted sexual assault on a child.

John-Anthony Brown, aged 48, of Edmunds Tower, Harlow has been charged with the following.

On June 13th, 2025, at Harlow, intentionally attempted to touch a girl aged 15 and that touching would have been sexual she would not have consented and you did not reasonably believe that she would have consented.

On June 13th, 2025, at Harlow, assaulted a police officer, acting in the exercise of his functions as such a worker, by beating him.

Brown’s next scheduled appearance is on April 13th, 2026 at Chelmsford magistrates court.

He has pleaded not guilty.
